Who we are
Helping people help themselves – together with local communities
We are a registered non-profit association and, above all, a group of people from Berlin and Brandenburg with many ideas and a strong commitment to Africa.
The founders’ professional connections in West Africa broadened our perspective on a continent of contrasts, challenges, hope and opportunity.
Our work is based on empowering people to help themselves. We support people in building a self-determined future in their own country and promote understanding between people and cultures.

How we work
From a concrete idea to sustainable impact
- 1Clarify needs together
We listen, verify the actual need and coordinate goals with local contacts.
- 2Implement in practice
Support is used where it is directly needed in the project.
- 3Document progress transparently
Images, reports and documents show what has been implemented and what comes next.

Responsibility and transparency
Trust requires transparent information
We make key association documents, statutes, activity reports and information about the board and organisation publicly available. This makes it clear who is responsible and how the association works.
