Empowering women

Training creates income

Training in cold-process soap making opened up new income opportunities for 25 unemployed women in Dubréka.

Make more projects possible

The project “Training in cold-process soap making to strengthen women’s associations in the Prefecture of Dubréka” was jointly developed by africa aid project e.V. and the NGO ADET and implemented locally by ADET.

Funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), 25 unemployed women from the region were trained in cold-process soap-making techniques.

The training improved employment and income opportunities for young women, pregnant women and people with disabilities. At the same time, it contributed to reducing rural exodus and irregular migration in the Republic of Guinea.
