Madina Borboff primary school operates in a deteriorating building with six rooms for around 486 pupils.
- Classes contain approximately 60 to 90 pupils.
- Some first-year pupils still write on slate boards.
- Desks and tables are damaged and insufficient.
- Only two toilets are available for pupils and teachers.
- The school day runs from about 8:15 a.m. to 5 p.m., without a reliable supply of food or drinks.
The project aims to commission local carpenters to produce desks and tables. This improves learning conditions while creating local work and income.
