Education creates a future

New primary school in Kamsar

A safe learning place combined with local self-financing.

Guinea is not yet able to provide adequate school education for every child. Only part of the children attend primary school, access to secondary education is significantly lower and the rate of insufficient reading and writing skills remains high.

The planned primary school in Kamsar is intended to improve educational opportunities and create a safe place for learning. Education is a central form of help for self-help and gives children long-term prospects in their own country.

A bakery or school kitchen is also planned. It can provide affordable food, create jobs and apprenticeships and contribute to the school’s running costs through sales.
