Exciting weeks in spring 2018.
For months we collected donations and packed them into a container for Guinea. They were provided by an educational institution in Berlin, a retirement home and a medical supply store in Potsdam. The shipment included cupboards, school desks and chairs, blackboards, pinboards, computers, monitors, projectors, wheelchairs, walkers and care beds. After several weeks, the container was received in Conakry.
Local friends helped unload and transport everything onward in intense heat. Packing, sorting and stowing continued into the evening.
