Shortly before the start of the Bundesliga season, africa aid project e.V. had the opportunity to meet Leipzig’s top striker and Guinea international Naby Keita at the training centre. We thank RB Leipzig and integration officer Raquel Rosa for making the meeting possible.
Naby Keita took plenty of time to learn about our work in education, health and waste management in Guinea.
Having grown up in Guinea and regularly visiting home, he knows the situation well and also contributes to supporting his country. He welcomed the work of a German NGO in Guinea, offered his support and wished us strength and success.
The conversation could also be held in his national language. Naby spoke about his beginnings in football and encouraged young players in Guinea to believe in their goals and work for them.
