IFAT is a trade fair for water, wastewater, waste and raw materials management held every two years in Munich. With more than 3,300 exhibitors from 58 countries and over 142,000 visitors from 162 countries, it is the world’s largest environmental technology trade fair.
Water, wastewater, waste disposal and recycling are highly relevant issues for Africa. africa aid project therefore used the fair to learn about new technologies and exchange ideas with manufacturers and service providers.
Valuable contacts were established, especially with manufacturers of waste containers and refuse collection vehicles.
